Wash and Paint Specialist

|Description:||This position performs a quality check on returned drums and totes and then prepares suitable containers for production. This involves emptying existing containers, cleaning with water and other agents, painting drums, and light paperwork. This is a labor intensive position that requires strong attention to detail and adherence to quality standards, ability to multitask, and flexibility. All duties are performed in a yard and warehouse setting.|
This position works Monday - Friday from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm or as needed.
|Duties:|| Inspect drums for usage.|
Inspect totes for usage.
Inform Yard/Production lead of any problems with drums/totes.
Follow SOPs for cleaning drums and totes.
Wash totes and drums.
Stack drums safely in appropriate locations.
Stack totes safely in appropriate locations.
Aid the production team as necessary to include but not limited to:
Lid open top and closed top drums.
Setup/prepare to repackage products.
Repackage specific products/sizes according to the daily production plan.
Fill drums, totes, buckets, etc.
Consistently lifting up to 60 lbs.
Close containers with lids and heat seal.
Follow AIB sanitation procedures for daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly requirements.
Fill out all required paperwork for all required certifications (AIB, QAI, Kosher, etc.).
Fill out required paperwork (BoMs) for task assigned by production plan.
Help Staging Specialist/End Shift Specialist as needed with Staging Honey Loads for the next day.
Follow all safety procedures.
Be a team player by remaining flexible.
Comply with all company/department policies and procedures.
Complete miscellaneous task as assigned.
Adhere to Glory Bees safety standards and culture of safety.
Attend monthly safety trainings.
Must wear Safety-toe boots or shoes.
Use all GloryBee equipment in a safe and respectful manner.
Must adhere to all Forklift/Pedestrian Communication standards.
Report all accidents and incidents to the department supervisor or lead.
Attend all scheduled safety related events.
Practice hazard communication and awareness.
Report all hazards to department lead or supervisor.
Work in a safe and responsible manner.
Warehouse/production typesetting, sitting, standing as needed, based on each task assigned.
All general warehouse equipment
To include but not limited to, pallet jacks, (electric/Manuel), scissor lift, filling machine, (servo, German fillers) ladders, hoses, tape guns, shrink tape and heat guns, drum/pallet scales. Also computer and labeling machine with some power tools and any additional warehouse equipment needed for each task.
All cleaning equipment to include but not limited to Power washer/steam cleaner, mops, brooms, hand scrubbers, hoses, cleaners (orange and bleach) tank sprayers, spray bottles, etc.
|Qualifications:|| High School Diploma or equivalent.|
1 year work experience
Basic math/writing skills.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to drive a forklift.
